The purpose of this skills programme is to prepare a learner to function as a Major Domestic Appliance Repairer.

A Major Domestic Appliance Repairer installs and repairs major domestic appliances including but not limited to electric stoves, tumble dryers, etc.

Occupational Certificate: Electrician

This qualification prepares learners to become Electricians who plan, install, test, connect, commission, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, and control systems. Qualified learners will be able to set up work sites, install and connect systems, test and inspect installations, and perform maintenance and repairs across various environments.

Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) Practitioner

An EPC Practitioner assesses and audits a building’s energy performance, verifies the data, and prepares a mock Energy Performance Certificate for official verification by an accredited body under SANEDI's national register

Electrical Wiring

The course introduces fundamental principles of electrical wiring systems and provides hands-on skills required for installation and maintenance of basic electrical systems such as house wiring.

Solar Installations

A Basic Solar Installation Course provides essential skills in installing and maintaining solar energy systems, including solar (PV) panels, solar water heating systems and related components.

Major Domestic Appliances Repairer

This course provides essential practical skills required for the installation, repair and maintenance of major domestic appliances including but not limited to Electric stove, microwave oven, tumble dryer, washing machines etc.

Small Domestic Appliances Repairer

This course provides essential practical skills required for the installation, repair and maintenance of major domestic appliances including but not limited to electric kettle, coffee maker, blender, electric iron etc.
