The National Artisan Moderation Body (NAMB) is a statutory unit under South Africa’s Department of Higher Education and Training, established to ensure the quality and standardization of artisan training and certification nationwide. Its core responsibilities include monitoring accredited trade test centres, moderating trade tests, managing a national database of registered assessors and moderators, and maintaining assessment instruments.
